The Missy Project is an IRS section 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, named for Missy Magel, a 12-year-old girl whose life was suddenly taken by a brain aneurysm rupture.
Your donation will help The Missy Project continue our fight against B.A.D. You can choose to support our Community Screening Program and sponsor a screening for $500. Or you can make a general donation to the organization that will support our outreach, awareness, research, and education programs.
All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. No goods or services were provided for this gift. Please consult your tax advisor regarding specific questions about your deductions.

Here are some ways to be creative with charitable giving:
- Special Occasions - Consider honoring a special occasion such as a wedding or a birthday with a donation in the name of your special friend. It’s a tax deductible way to help The Missy Project.
- Remembrances - The Missy Project regularly receives donations as memorials for those who have left us. The family as well as the donor will receive acknowledgement of their donation. Their special memorial donation will be listed in our Update.
- Company Match Program - If your company has a matching gift program, you can email the form to Mary@themissyproject.org and she will fill it in and get the matching contribution.
